Whatever’s happening in the world, Christmas happens every year. The burdens of world events distract from the usual Christmas celebrations, but war and rumors of wars, civil unrest, ongoing conflicts, the plight of the world’s refugee children of war, even international anarchy, do not detract from the true meaning of the first advent of Jesus Christ. These conditions merely accent the pressing need for His second advent when His Prince of Peace role will finally be experienced by the whole world.
