Hartford High School Principal Abel Robles traded the office for 2nd Grade classroom at Redwood Elementary

CHANGE OF PACE… Hartford High School Principal Abel Robles traded the office for Brianna Turk’s 2nd Grade classroom at Redwood Elementary on Friday, May 2, 2026 — and the students loved every minute of it! Here substitute teacher Robles listens intently to 2nd grader Remi Gasca.

Turk earned the special opportunity for Principal Robles to serve as substitute teacher through Hartford Public Schools’ “Day Off Raffle,” awarded to staff members who attend and support the Hartford Foundation for Quality Education’s annual Student Benefit Auction.
