Hartford Member Center expanding business hours
Honor Credit Union (HCU) is always aiming to find new ways to improve their member experience. Beginning Monday, Oct. 23, the Hartford Member Center will undergo a few small changes that'll shift the way customers visit them for their drive-thru transactions, as well as the introduction of longer lobby hours, including a shift to remain open over lunch, Monday-Friday.
Since opening their doors in Hartford last year, they have always closed for a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. Starting Oct. 23, they'll no longer close during this timeframe and remain available from open to close daily during the week. In addition, HCU also be adding an extra 30 minutes on Friday afternoons, shifting their closing time on Fridays only to 5:30 p.m. Following these changes, lobby hours will be Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The lobby is closed on Saturday.
In addition to the expanded lobby hours, they are making some changes to the drive-thru experience. Starting Oct. 23, the existing drive-thru lanes will be closed permanently, and all drive-thru service will be switched to the ATM Video Teller machine near the back of the parking lot.
The ATM Video Teller machines are not a whole lot different than a traditional drive-thru lane, but instead of interacting with the teller inside the building, customers connect with an Honor team member through a video screen. ATM Video Tellers assist members with virtually anything they would have previously done through the drive-thru, including: Cash & Check Deposits, Withdrawals, Check Cashing, Money Transfers, and Loan Payments.
Another major benefit is the extended hours these machines allow. While these machines always operate as a normal ATM 24/7, real tellers are available to serve over video Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
