Hartford reacts to superintendent’s intention to retire Indian mascot

The Hartford School Board met Monday, Nov. 1 for the monthly work study with an additional agenda item to address the community backlash due to a letter from new superintendent, Kelly Millin, posted to Facebook on Friday citing “the retirement of our current mascot at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.”
