Hartford Township honored by Southwest Michigan Planners

At their regular August business meeting on Thursday, August 12, Hartford Township officials were visited by Khris Martin on behalf of the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission to present the township with the Graham Woodhouse Award in recognition of participation in the multi-community effort to restore and maintain the Paw Paw River Water Trail. Eleven miles of the 68-mile trail falls within the boundaries of Hartford Township. The award salutes the synergy of all the local governments who contributed the development of one of West Michigan’s premier non-motorized recreational waterways enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
