Hartford Twp. awards grant to Hartford Fire Department from federal rescue funds
At their regular September business meeting, Hartford Township officials approved a grant to the Hartford Joint Fire Department in the amount of $800/month ($9,600 year) for four years, total of $38,400 beginning Oct. 1, 2021. The grant is for increased hours and pay for the Assistant Fire Chief using funds that are coming via the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The federal funds are targeted to mitigate the effects of the pandemic.
