HOPE Resources is partnering with Mosaic of Benton Harbor to offer Jobs for Life, a national Christian-based curriculum designed to help participants prepare for success in the workforce.

The first HOPE Resources Jobs for Life class is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Oct. 7, and will meet from 4 to 7 p.m. once a week for approximately eight to 10 weeks in the HOPE Resources classroom.

Kristine Murray will lead the program. Murray has previous experience with the Jobs for Life curriculum through her ministry work with women who have experienced domestic abuse and violence. Mosaic has also worked with multiple groups using the curriculum and will provide instruction for the HOPE Resources program.

Jobs for Life focuses on helping participants develop the skills, habits and support systems needed to enter and succeed in the workforce. Topics will include qualities employers look for in employees, useful workplace habits, behaviors employers discourage, honesty and integrity, resume preparation and other employment skills.
