House approves plan to help keep rural communities safe
Last week the House approved a plan that provides long-term funding for a Michigan’s secondary road patrol program. The funds offer additional resources for county sheriff departments to patrol roads located outside of cities and villages. With the support this plan gives, local police officers will be able to conduct more patrols and create more safety for our state’s rural communities.
