As Chair of the House committee on Workforce, Trades, and Talent, I have scheduled an August 19 committee hearing on a plan to prohibit Michigan employers from discriminating against employees who choose not to get certain vaccinations, including Influenza, Tdap, and COVID-19. House Bill 4471, introduced by Rep. Sue Allor, creates the Informed Consent in the Workplace Act, allowing employees to decline certain vaccinations without repercussions.
