Increasing transparency & accountability in the federal government

My work for Southwest Michigan continues and I am happy to report another positive result. Over the last several months there has been a growing concern about the Biden Administration seeking to ban gas stoves. This led me to introduce the STOVE Act in January to stop the Biden Administration from enacting a blanket ban on gas stoves, ranges, and additional appliances. Despite some in Washington downplaying this threat, more recently we have seen New York State ban gas stoves in new builds, and here in Michigan, the City of Ann Arbor continues to examine a ban on natural gas in new construction.
