ISABELLA BERTUCA

Isabella’s life began Feb. 6, 1931 in Illinois. She spent most of her lifetime living in Coloma. She leaves behind a large loving family to cherish her memory including: nine children, Rocco (Nancy) Bertuca, JoAnn (Patrick) McGowan, Frances (Frank) Ambler, Catherine (Jeffrey) Pyne, John (Patricia) Bertuca, Santina (Guy) Bartels, Angelique (Jamie) Hipskind, Anthony (Stephanie) Bertuca, and Michael Bertuca; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer Fishback, Nicholas (Erin) Bertuca, Antoinette McGowan, Joseph (Ann) McGowan, Christina (Thomas) Boothby-Baptie, Karen (Eric) Triestram, Mark Pyne, Thalia Bertuca, Courtney Bartels, Heather Lopez, Michael Bartels, De’Vino Hipskind, Austin Bertuca, Braden Bertuca, and Jolie Bertuca; five great-grandchildren, Frankie, Penelope, Georgie, Korey, and Izabella; and many nieces and nephews.

Isabella died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rocco Bertuca, a grandson Patrick Cassidy, and three siblings, Frank (Elizabeth) Mungo, Joseph (Charmaine) Mungo, and Elizabeth (Carl) Franzo.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet with interment following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
