It’s the only way

It was not going to end well on this dark afternoon outside Jerusalem at Calvary. Three crosses for three crucified, two of which who would not see another sunrise. But it did end well for you and for me. If Jesus had not died on the cross that day there would be no opportunity for His resurrection, and we would have no remedy for our sin except to pay our debt ourselves. So, Jesus dying on the cross was critical to God’s plan of redemption. Jesus’ blood paid the debt we owed, once and for all. It was the only way.
