JEFFREY L. JOSEPH


Jeffrey L. Joseph, 55, of Coloma, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. up until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Memorial donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to Paws of Hope Animal Rescue. Jeff was born June 12, 1967, in Watervliet to Richard and Barbara (Suwarsky) Joseph. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School and served in the United States Army. Jeff worked at Rex Auto Parts where he met his wife Bonnie, and they married on April 5, 1997. He was currently employed at Primetals, where he had worked for the last 25 years. Jeff enjoyed cooking, watching YouTube videos, and tuning into an exciting MMA fight on a Saturday night. He especially loved driving his Jeep Wrangler with the top and doors off on warm, summer days.

Jeff is survived by his wife Bonnie; children Grant and Hudson; his mother Barbara Joseph; and siblings Edwin Joseph, Linda (Steve) Knuth, June Heyn, Beverly Kotyuk, Rebecca Reeves, Elizabeth (Ed) Mohr and Tom Joseph. Also surviving are his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rex (Debbie) Watkins and Susan Stewart and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Lena Suwarsky, his father Richard “Joe” Joseph, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Rex and Sophia Watkins.
