Kim C. (Jackson) Wolf, 68 of Watervliet, passed away Sunday evening Dec. 11, 2022, at the Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac. She was born August 30, 1954, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Horace D. “Dee” and Fanetta G. (Shipley) Jackson.
Kim was raised in the Coloma area and in earlier years attended Coloma Public Schools. She was a fun-loving person, enjoyed any time spent with family, was always an encouragement to others and was well known to give the best impromptu back massages to family and friends. Kim had struggled with health issues over the past several years but always maintained her focus on the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Kim is loved and survived by her husband, Alois “Al” Wolf of Watervliet; children: Steven (Stephanie) Hester of Nashville; grandchildren: Whitley Hester of Greenville, Aiden Clarkin of Bath; siblings: Shelby Merick of Coloma, Angie Jackson of Dowagiac, DeLois (Butch) Hunsberger of Coloma, Paulette (Paul) Kiser of Hartford, Pastor Doral (Linda) Jackson of Watervliet, Becky Jackson of Broken Arrow, OK, Linnie (Michael) VanArkel of Benton Center; and many dearly loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace D. “Dee” Jackson & Fanetta Geneva (Shipley) Jackson; siblings: Barbara Carpp, Mary Cantrell, Jerry Jackson, Edward Merick; children: David Marshall Hester, DeAnna & Shane Simpson; grandchildren: April, Ryan, Shane, and Jessie Simpson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday Dec. 16, 2022, at River of Life Church, 8712 Red Arrow Hwy., Watervliet, with her brother, Pastor Doral Jackson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Committal prayers will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday Dec. 19, 2022, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek.
Memorials may be given to Retinitis Pigmentosa Foundation or River of Life Church. Envelopes will be available at the service or at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
