Kingdom come
If a kid was angry with a playmate and wanted to fight, he might say to him something like, “I’ll knock you into kingdom come!” It was, of course, just a slang expression, and not intended to be literal. An encounter might ensue, but the combatants were usually friends anyway, and would be playing baseball together again by tomorrow afternoon.
