Merck’s anti-viral pill for COVID-19 treatment could come in a matter of weeks

Drug maker Merck has asked U.S. regulators in the Food and Drug Administration last Monday to authorize its new antiviral pill for treatment of COVID-19 in what would add an entirely new and easy-to-use tool to battle the pandemic.
