Michigan cannot keep paying the price for Canadian wildfires

For the fourth summer in a row, smoke from Canadian wildfires has clouded Michigan’s skies. This smoke-filled air presents health concerns for children, seniors, and everyone with asthma or another health condition. The negative impact of this pollution reaches beyond the health of Michiganders as well. It drains the small businesses and empties our beaches and campgrounds that built around summer tourism season. Despite having years to confront this challenge, Canada has yet to find a workable solution.
