Multi-vehicle fatal traffic crash on I-196 northbound

On Friday morning, Dec. 13, 2024 at 5:11 a.m. police and emergency responders were dispatched to an unknown injury roll over crash involving multiple vehicles. Upon arrival, police found a semi truck tractor hauling two dump trailers full of gravel was involved, along with a Dodge pickup pulling a camper trailer and a Chevrolet Equinox. Investigators found the driver of the Chevy Equinox unresponsive and pinned in his vehicle.
