New COVID cases drop 42% nationwide, Berrien trending down

The Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties all remain in the “high” positivity test rate category, while health officials breathe a sigh of relief as the spike of Omicron cases came down an average of 42% across the U.S. literally days before hospitals were completely overwhelmed in some states.
