IN CASE OF EMERGENCY… Pre-Incident Planning is in the Fire Fighters I & II curriculum requirements to receive firefighter’s Certification, according to Fire Marshal Bob Adams. As part of their training, members of North Berrien Fire Rescue installed signs at driveways that are longer than 1,000 feet or have accessibility issues. The pre-planning ensures emergency responders will be able to provide water and fire fighting equipment to these properties in their coverage. Firefighter Kim Kibby and Cadet Chase Hankins are shown by a drop hose sign that was installed during this ongoing project.
