North Berrien Historical Museum offers kids’ program on Civil War home front

 On Friday, Jan. 2, the North Berrien Historical Museum in Coloma will offer a free winter time traveler program on the Civil War home front.

 This interactive program will take participants on a journey through the Civil War-era to learn about the activities of everyday citizens while their loved ones were off fighting. This will include a visit from a Union soldier in uniform to explain the life of a soldier. Activities will include corn shelling, butter making, and tin punching.
