Applying for a job, we expect access to the appropriate, written “job description” for the position. This list of tasks for which we would be responsible, should be complete and accurate. There is sometimes a very dangerous phrase that, if included in the job description, is a red flag, or at least an orange CAUTION flag, not to be ignored. That phrase is, “And such duties as may be assigned.”
