Omicron dominates U.S., Michigan logs 4,600 new COVID cases per day
A goal to have one million more Michiganders receive the COVID-19 booster vaccine by January 31 was announced Tuesday by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Whitmer went on to say 85% of people who died from COVID-19 in the state between Jan. 15 and Dec. 3, 2021 was unvaccinated, per data from the office of Michigan Health and Human Services.
