The Associated Press reports COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. have now climbed to an average of more than 1,900 a day for the first time since early March of 2021, with health experts stating the virus is preying largely on a specific group; that being the 71 million unvaccinated Americans. The growing lethal turn has filled hospitals, complicated the start of the school year, and delayed the return to offices for workers.
