Presentation of the history of the Potawatomi people in Van Buren County

The community is invited to the Hartford Public Library, 12 Church St., on Saturday, June 21 at 11 a.m. for a special program presented by guest speaker Cecil Wilson Jr. He is the Historic Research Specialist of the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi.
The Pokagon Band is a Native American government based on core values of wisdom, love, respect, truth, honesty, humility, and bravery. Wilson will offer historic and person perspective about the Potawatomi.
