NOTICE OF
ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT
TO THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE CITY OF WATERVLIET,
MICHIGAN AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that after a second reading conducted during a regular meeting of the Watervliet City Commission on November 11, 2025; and after a first reading conducted on October 7, 2025, the Watervliet City Commission voted affirmatively to amend the City’s Cemetery Ordinance, Section 3, repealing “Certain Statutes Adopted”, adding “Management” and adding Section 4 “Rules and Regulations”. The Watervliet City Commission also voted affirmatively to amend the City’s, City Manager’s Job Description Ordinance, Section (13) increasing the spending threshold to $20,000.00.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that these amendments will take effect 20 days after publication. A copy of the amended ordinances may be purchased or inspected at the Watervliet City Hall, 158 W. Pleasant St., Watervliet, Michigan during regular business hours.
