OPPORTUNITY

Watervliet Charter Township is seeking applicants who will train to become the Deputy Clerk in April 2025. Job responsibilities include all election related activities, including voter registration, maintaining election files, overseeing elections and maintaining election security. The selected individual must become certified as an election inspector and take all required classes to acquire and maintain online accreditation. Other responsibilities of the Deputy Clerk including assisting the Assessor for Board of Review meetings, assisting the Township Clerk and Township Treasurer with payroll management, maintaining all township records and various other administrative duties.
