Reflecting on God’s giftof government

 “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.” (Rom. 13:1). Lutherans are trained to ask, “What does this mean?” This verse troubles many people. When we agree with those in charge, we agree with the verse. When we disagree with those in charge, we struggle.
