Reminiscing with Pearl Playford

“Faith Will Win the Victory Every Time” is the title of a very old and well loved religious song, and it immediately came to my mind one day just recently when I read a United Press story date-lined Washington, D.C., and captioned “Kennedy Says Faith Holds Key.”

President Kennedy, speaking at the annual Presidential Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by the International Christian Leadership, said: “Only faith in God can bring Americans through the present era of immense perils.”
