Ricky E. Stevens, 63, of Benton Harbor, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at his residence.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Full Gospel Christian Tabernacle, 8080 Carmody Road in Watervliet. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Immediately following the service everyone is invited to remain at the church for a time of food and fellowship. Rick was born Sept. 6, 1962, in Benton Harbor to Charles and Donna (Mishler) Stevens. He was formerly employed by the Coloma News Agency, and USA Properties, but most recently was the current owner of John’s Glass in Coloma. Rick loved Jesus and was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Tabernacle and New Life Christian Center. He enjoyed working and helping people. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family along with watching Detroit Lions Football.
Rick is survived by his wife Sue; his mother Donna Stevens of Hartford; children Rick (Sarah) Stevens of Coloma, Amanda Muday of Coloma, Michael Stevens of Benton Harbor; step children Shawna Salmons of Hartford and David Clements Jr. of Minnesota. Also surviving are three sisters; Patricia Massey of Coloma, Terri (John) Huffman of Cedar Springs, MI, Cindy (John) Minnich of Indiana, along with eight grandchildren; Julia Harris, Isabelle (Austin) Russell, Aaron Collins II, Emma Stevens, Ellie Clements, Carter and Cooper Robards, and Arabella Muday.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Charles, and two brothers; Charles and Johnny Stevens.
