100 years ago – 1924

Twice Pere Marquette Agent Fred G. Smith has opened the depot offices to find a visit from robbers. The latest break in was a smashed ticket window. Police hope to get finger prints and evidence.

The new cement road has been completed from Twelve Corners to Euclid. Now there is clear sailing over a fine cement highway.
