100 years ago – 1925

The biggest resort deal has been closed. Alfred Nordeen’s North Park Resort was purchased by the North Park Community Resort Association.

A fatal automobile accident happened on the Twelve Corners road due to the slippery road conditions. Leslie Bell swerved his car near the Stanley school house and slid down the embankment. Bell lost his life and four passengers were taken to the hospital.
