100 years ago – 1926

Coloma will not lose M-11 as a state trunkline highway. This road is recognized as a big resort thoroughfare of Michigan. Any road built along the Michigan sand dune region will be known as Federal Route No. 31.

Perry Spink has been engaged as manager of the Michigan Shore Lumber & Supply Co. He is a valuable addition to the working force.
