100 years ago – 1926

The Memorial Day crowd was such that hotels were filled to overflowing. Many private homes were thrown open to accommodate the guests.

The Coloma band is rehearsing to be ready for the opening of concert season. Local people have subscribed a sum to reimburse the members for furnishing the weekly concerts. See G. R. Schaer for your subscription.
