In the first six months of President Trump’s second term, Republicans have kept our promise to address the crisis at our southern border. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security announced that not a single illegal immigrant was released into the United States during the month of May or June. This is a dramatic reversal from the Biden Administration, which released 62,000 illegal individuals in May and another 27,000 in June of 2024.
