Coloma will be holding their annual St. Patrick’s Day Lighted Parade on Saturday, March 11, 2023 starting at 8:30 p.m. in downtown.

Two events are scheduled for daytime on March 11. Coloma Public Library will have a Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. And a St. Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt is planned from 2 – 4 p.m. at the North Berrien Historical Museum, 300 Coloma Ave.

celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with scavenger hunt, March 11

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a fun, self-guided scavenger hunt around the North Berrien Historical Museum in Coloma to find the hidden pot of gold and learn about Irish-American history along the way!

This free program is designed for wee folk ages 6-plus and their families. It will take place on Saturday, March 11 from 2–4:00 p.m. No RSVP required. Contact the Museum with any questions at (269) 468-3330.


Irish Stew Dinner in Hartford on March 17

The Hartford United Methodist Church is having an Irish Stew Dinner on Friday, March 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited.

The dinner includes stew, salad, roll, dessert and beverage and is by donation. Donations will go towards the church General Fund and their Backpack Mission. Take-out is available.

The church is located at 425 E. Main Street and can be reached by calling 269-621-4103.


Lenten speaker at

St. Joseph Catholic, March 15

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet is hosting a Lenten speaker on Wednesday evening, March 15 from 6:30 to 8:30. All are invited to hear Christine Alfaro give her incredible story of a mother’s miraculous journey of faith, hope, and love through tragedy. The evening will include Alfaro’s talk in the church, followed by light refreshments in the basement.

There will be question and answer sessions with Christine for women as well as her husband Chris answering questions for the men. Their son, Seth will talk with the teens and young adults, answering their questions.
