State budget
In our last state budget, I helped secure much-needed assistance for Benton Harbor, Southwest Michigan, and the entire state’s economy as the Legislature passed a bipartisan budget agreement that was signed by Governor Whitmer. This money in the state budget doesn’t belong to politicians, it belongs to the hardworking people they serve, and I’m proud of the way we came together to use these dollars in the most efficient, effective, and responsible way possible.
