SCHOOL SPIRIT CO-CHAMPIONS… State Rep. Pauline Wendzel (left) delivered the hardware to the 2025 Southwest Michigan School Spirit Co-Champions, Watervliet Public Schools representatives. The 2025 School Spirit Tournament ended in a draw after overwhelming community support for both Watervliet Public and Grace Christian school systems quite literally broke the internet. Due to the massive surge in engagement, Facebook shut down comments and shares on both schools’ photos on the final day of the tournament — a testament to the passion and pride shown by both schools.
