CRACKING THE CODE… On Wednesday, May 20, fourth and fifth graders at Coloma Intermediate School (CIS) were transformed into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) detectives. Throughout the day groups of students traveled to various stations where they investigated clues, solved puzzles, and were involved in hands-on learning challenges where a new piece of evidence was revealed to “crack the case.” The students performed “fingerprints forensics,” were “cipher code breakers” and dodged drones at the “Drone Academy.”
