Summer swelter: how local schools are beating the heat

HITTING THE ROAD AGAIN… Tri-City schools are in session for the new school year this week with an excessive heat warning. It’s not just the classrooms that could be too hot, busses can also. Fall athletes that spend most of the practice outside including football, soccer and cheer schedules have been altered to respect the heat advisory.
