Surfari Joe's indoor water park in Watervliet reopens

Surfari Joe's Indoor Wilderness Water Park announced its reopening on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023. After months of anticipation and preparations, Surfari Joe's is finally ready to welcome guests again. This occasion was marked by a special soft opening weekend, offering limited admissions and accommodating up to 75 guests per session.

The park, adjacent to the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot – Watervliet, originally announced its indefinite closure in March of 2020 due to safety protocols for the COVID-19 virus.

As the water park located at 8258 Arnt Boulevard settles into its rhythm, there will be adjustments to hours, pricing, and session times in the coming weeks.

The management of Surfari Joe's Indoor Water Park expressed their gratitude to the community for their unwavering support throughout this journey. The team is eager to provide an unforgettable experience, filled with laughter and cherished memories for all who walk through their doors.

Surfari Joe's is also in search of dedicated lifeguards to join their team. For anyone interested or knows someone who might be, they are to apply at Fairfield Inn or call 269-463-7946 for more information.
