The ribbon drops as Watervliet City’s new Rain Garden officially opens

On Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 representatives from the City of Watervliet, Watervliet Township, Berrien County Drain Commission, local businesses of Wightman & Associates, contractor Harris ConAg, and legal representatives from Fahey, Shultz, Burzych, and Rhodes, along with residents gathered to watch the ribbon cutting ceremony to the new rain garden appropriately located on what used to be Park Street between South Elementary School and Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
