USDA pilot program selects Hartford Twp. for equity project
Lisa Epple visited the regular meeting of Hartford Township on November 11 as representative of the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development office to inform the board that the township had been selected as one of 10 local governments statewide to participate in their new Equity Project. The program seeks to work with select municipalities to create a current and projected needs assessment and to help align the community with programs both inside and outside office of Rural Development to develop strategies and locate financial assistance as may be available. The first scheduled meeting is December 8 at 1:00 p.m.
