Van Buren/Cass District Health Department announces new Health Officer
On Wednesday, July 14, 2021 Van Buren/Cass District Health Department’s Board of Health announced the hiring of their new Health Officer, Danielle Persky. Persky, a Western Michigan University graduate, will replace the retiring Jeff Elliott. Elliott served as the Health Officer for the health department for 38 years and will continue to serve in an advisory capacity through December 31, 2021.
