Van Buren Sheriff’s Deputy makes arrest for theft in Hartford Township

Sheriff Daniel E. Abbott reports that a Deputy was dispatched to a business in the 67000 block of Red Arrow Highway in Hartford Township on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m. for a report of a theft that had just occurred. The owner of the property was notified by his security cameras that people were on the property. He reported seeing two subjects on camera as they entered the property and stole multiple items including a welder, metal poles, and various wiring.
