Sponsored by the Watervliet Business Association, the annual Independence Day Weekend Celebration fundraiser Duck Race was held in Mill Creek at Flaherty Park on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Nearly 1,000 yellow plastic ducks were deposited into the creek between raindrops and raced to the shoot for the following winners:
