Watervliet District Library news

Banned Books Week continues through Saturday, Oct. 2. In honor of this annual recognition, the Watervliet District Library is offering a variety of take-home projects (Take-&-Make trading cards; word searches), book displays and hand-outs. New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds has been chosen as this year’s Banned Books Week Honorary Chair. Reynolds is the author of “All American Boys,” “Long Way Down,” and many other acclaimed books for teens. Links to online events with the author will be shared on the library’s Facebook page.
