“What the Men and Women on the Railroad did all the Live-Long Day” at HPL on May 16

Our nation is rich in railroad history; it’s the industry that opened the west and built this great country. But trains did not run without the men and women who excavated the railbeds, laid the rails, designed and built the railcars, assisted travelers, and serviced the needs of their passengers. Mark Tomlonson of the Kalamazoo Model Railroad Historical Society will present a look back into the lives of those dedicated to keeping the trains and people moving.
