Momentous events in our lives make memorable impressions. I was in class in a Philadelphia high school when John Kennedy’s assassination was announced over the PA system. I was setting tile at a house in Michigan the morning 911 occurred. We remember when such events happen as if a stamp on our memory captures the whole context.
