Governor Gretchen Whitmer again stated she had no intentions of reinstating any prior COVID restrictions in a press conference last Friday, as new COVID cases have grown to a rate of over 14%. Whitmer instead urged Michiganders to voluntarily suspend in-person activities for high schools, indoor dining, and youth sports for two weeks.
